Do you have a MOSFET in that gun? Can you take a picture of the burnt area and post it. I suspect that the trigger contacts are scorched or if you have a shitty wire patch job then that is not soldered together then you will have burned out wiring their.
You should not run 11.1v without a mosfet / trigger board or at least upgraded electrical (wire, microfuse, switch). A argument can be made that 9.6v large batteries sub-C should be treated the same way as well.
