Hey, for those SCAR DMR guys out there. Since I'm still waiting for the RedWolf replacement for part 66 (the one they *up, they've at least been helpful in getting me another one), I haven't been able to shoot with CO2, however, a set of gasses I ordered from HK arrived today, and I have some interesting results for you.
I chronoed and tested different stuff with all three gasses (which are the WE Green Gas, Wenzel Propane and some unknown ET-1600 Red Gas).
Alright, internally I've changed my inner for the Ra-Tech 440/6.01 EBR precision one, a Falcon Double Point 80 degree bucking (which is GREAT for hard hitting platforms) and a Ra-Tech NPAS system. I'm waiting to have my gun operational on CO2 before trying out range (70 metres +) performance, so I've only went over power and consistency. I tested each gas for 10 shots, and the results are as follows (With .20 BBs and at 10 ÂșC, which is decently cold [I know, a summer day for you canadian folks]):

Green Gas:
484 Avg. FPS, although the FPS varied almost 50 from the first shot to the last, and while I charged the mag well, the gas didn't work for more than 15 shots.

Propane:
497 Avg. FPS, same 50 FPS variation from the first shot to the last, same amount of shots pretty much. Propane does not come lubricated, though, so it's better suited for a longer range role (doesn't mess with your hop up).

Red Gas:
And here's the cool part, 516 average FPS, but the variation was of 13 FPS, and with the same amount of time to charge the mag, it lasted for 3 BB refills on it.

I still have tons of testing to do (specially once I get the CO2), and this is very preliminary; but it would appear that red gas is a very considereable option for this kind of platform, and might be a decent alternative for those who don't want to run their guns on CO2, but want better consistency and power than that offered by lesser gasses. Another cool thing to note is how easily the SCAR can reach DMR FPS with just a couple of internal upgrades, and even running on gas.
