It's not the adapters that's the problem, it's the stuff I'm making them for.
I've had similar issues trying it out on stuff I have here
Everything coming out of asia has no set tolerances, so their threads could be over or under size by quite a bit. Unfortunately for you and I, it's impossible to predict where their tolerances will fall, or to make a medium.
When your dealing with something as fine pitch as 1mm, making it oversize enough to fit the biggest thread means it's going to slip right over the smallest threads.
So there's no such thing as too perfect lol
