The whole reason for everyone using retractable stocks these days is because in this stance which maximizes your armor profile, you can't see through your scope or iron sights worth a damn if you have a full stock

Exactly... I'm just confused to why people can't shoot with a regular stock. Im also short and i have never had a problem. Maybe take some gear off and get more comfortable BB's wont penetrate your clothing. I've been in the CF for years now and i have used every weapon they have. Not once could i not shoot or did this stop me from any tac ex's. retract stock or not.
as thunder said, stick it right next to you lung and lean forward maybe that will help, if not rest it on the tip of your shoulder... if not then get a retract stock.. i have mine fully retracted, i hate long stocks, not because i cant shoot but because its easier and more maneuverable.
