Illusion is incorrect. As there is no "timing" for version 2 & 3 gearboxes, but there is on version 4 gearboxes. If you do not have the bevel gear allinged with the sector gear properly the piston will not stay in the fully cocked position. The bevel gear has an anti reversal lever to keep the gears from winding back down. This is what the decocking lever behind the trigger is for. The spur gear need not be in any set position.

If you are still having issiues with you psg-1 not shooting or you have double trigger pull then check your timing
