Can I polish this slide?
 

I have the Hurricane upgrade kit on my KSC G17. I was wondering if any of you have had any experience in polishing the metal slide that comes with it. I wanted to make the 2-tone look. Do you think there would be any danger in polishing my slide? would the finish be more susceptible to the elements if it were polished?...even though I will be playing indoors.

you can polish them with a sanding sponge from any paint store get the fine and sand some concrete to soften it up them get some polish and a buffer to get a nice shiny look however if its a cheap metal slide it may have pits in it so be warned.. another thing you can do to protect it from the elements is a little car wax.. Just a thought, If its dumb feel free to flame..
