Mag Problems with M4 and M9

Hey Guys,

So i have 5 King arms 120 round low caps for my G&G M4. Plus one 25 round mag for my KJW M9. When i was using them today i noticed that my M9 mag was jamming and the bbs wouldn't feed into the gun. it was like the spring was stuck. as for my M4 mags, 3 of them, the spring seems to be getting stuck as well. I know that king arms mags due tend to jam and I'm trying to find a solution for both of these problems. Thanks :)

did you silicone lube the mags and what brand of BB's are you using?

I had the same issue with the metal tech .25's the other day.

Just Lube your mags, run a full mag through them, and use proper BB's,

Ok, so i still have a problem. I've tried Lubricating the mags and that doesn't seem to be working. By the way, its like the spring in the M4 mags is Sticking and every time i pull on the release button like 2 will fall out at a time. and then i bang the bottom and 2 more will come out and then i bang the bottom again and then most of the time the rest of the bbs will fall out...any suggestions??

one of my mags had the same issue had to pull out the spring and look at it or feel it you will see / feel any irregularities. mine had a kink in it about half way down just was 2-3 degrees out from the rest of the coil and it was catching...

straightened it out a bit . relubed and all fine now
make sure to use good BB's though... and when you load them don't over load them Mine were supposed to be 120 rnd but for some reason will hold 130.... so either the box is wrong or the tollerence is that off... any who don't over load them

oh also check the plastic housing... inside the metal case. if the screws are too tight it is less tollerent to the spring variences... loosen the screws a quarter turn and see if that helps... not super loose just a wee bit..

ok I'll try doing that as well, what kind of Lubricant would you recommend i use for the mags?

What BB's are you using?

MALTV August 20th, 2009 23:03

haha cybergun bb's i know there shit, but bb bastard is all out of .20's atm and when your living in Newfoundland there's no such thing as good quality bbs at any store anywhere...

I've had the same problem with my KA mags. What I did was lube 5 bb's and load them into the mag then load the rest of the mag. Do this 3-5 times. After you do that put a few drops of oil into the mag and let it sit upright for a few hours.
