Well, the receiver on that Thompson is wrong. The bolt should be located on top. If I were to buy an AEG like that, I'd want it to be as much like the real deal as you can get it.

Lol @ BAXS

Wow.. I had to click on the link to figure out what the fuck a GSG-5 was.

the front grip on the thompson looks like it's about to fall off on it's own.

Gotta love when a retailer doesn't tell you what brand your buying

I guess the general concensus is that you shouldn't get either one of those. |
Personally just between you and me I would buy neither. Since your IP address shows that you are located in the USA. I would save up an extra 100 dollars and buy from a different company that actually lists the brand of the gun its selling and buy an AEG made by decent company like Classic Army, Tokyo Marui, or ICS. Even if you are not interested in saving up that extra 100 you can still get something of modest quality by Echo 1 or G&G that should be in the price range you are currently at.

As I recall (which may not be accurate as I have fallen out of keeping up with brands until I'm AV-ed) the GSG-5 rebrand that site carries is an Echo 1 / JG or a CYMA . Judging by the metal body and generic picture, I'd say it's a CYMA. However, with the FPS they have listed there, the CYMA theory seems discredited as their guns usually have an FPS of 350 - 450.
Whatever the case, I'm going with everyone else. If you are in the US, don't skimp out. Buy from a more reputable site. Even if you do buy this gun and it turns out to be a CYMA, it's overpriced. This same model, shooting 400 FPS is only $175 on Airsoft GI. My personal favourite of that site "Full Simi Auto" and "FPS: .12g BB: 365" What is Full Simi Auto? I know a girl named Simi, that's odd. |
