Cadpat Utility Pouches

I'm after one like this http://www.cpgear.com/StoreBox/pouches/4004.htm but with Molle tabs built into it, i really can't be doing with those malice clips

AFAIK the only gear companies that make CADPAT kit(CP Gear, TT and HSGI) are all MALICE clips.

Really, theres no real difference between the pouches that have the "fabric clip" built in an the MALICE clips. You're either gonna weave a plastic tab or fabric. Both are easy to do an quick.

It take two 5" MALICE clips to attach this pouch. That's how you attach MOLLE/PALS pouches normally. Eagle use a fabric clip that weaves in the exact same way the MALICE clip does. Conversly you could go with ALICE clips (but why?) or just use zip ties.

I just see it as a little silly that you have to buy another product when the pouch itself is totally useless without it.

There are a number of product lines that sew straps on, but it adds cost to the pouch.

Pouches without attachments are usually less expensive.

Then try to find a similar Tactical Tailor pouch, They include the clips with the pouches. Good luck though. Cadpat isn't a popular was it once was.

Yeah, I hate it when I have to buy another product to make the one I want work. Mags for my guns, ammo for my guns, batteries for my guns. That should all be supplied in abundance for every gun I buy, even though what I get may not be what I want and wanted to use something else anyways and I'm stuck with it.

I'm not asking for abundance, i'm asking for enough to make it work. In terms of your analagy that's one battery and one mag, which is exactly what is supplied. Another reason that sown tabs are better is that they reduce the gap between your rig and the pouch. To put it another way the pouch hangs off you less.

Not really. I have both style of pouches on my rig right now and there is no difference what so ever on the way the pouches hang off the vest. If you put the malice clip on the right way there really is no gap compared to the pouch with the built in fabric clip.
