Obvious, but make sure you test your eyewear out first.
Always make sure to test out your eyewear before playing with it. Shoot it from about an inch out with your primary and secondary and ensure that it will stand up to it.
A friend of mine said he had found a good deal on Wiley X Z87-2 ballistic rated sunglasses with a foam seal and even a built in strap on ebay and he grabbed me one to try out. The whole deal looks good, even the strap is replicated and markings are there, but when shot with a measly P226, - this is what happened. These are knockoffs. http://img20.imageshack.us/img20/8285/wileyxfake.jpg |

Too everyone who now wants to shoot their glasses, I'd recommend shooting them in your non dominant eye. That'll help prevent you from getting as annoyed by any marks it might leave.
|
can you get your money back?
|
making and selling things like this should be an instant criminal negligence charge.

what about toothpaste with melanine...
