I have DUAL Extremes, one is bone stock & the other is an upgraded version (slide & internals)... pics will be up soon!
I know that the blowback chamber is modded from the original, and that there's a spring buffer, so any pics of what else makes it different would be awesome
damnet kev, you have to many sweet guns!
so you can get metal slides for this intresting and are they really as fast as they say with the cycle rate?
They are fast in stock form on propane but that is because they are short stroked...meaning they DO NOT slide lock when the last round is fired!
The slide lock is also "governed" with a small screw that DOES NOT allow it to activate rendering it useless! Yes, there is a metal slide for it...PGC has been the first so far to release it. They fit very well with minimal work. Much better for reliability I'm sure, but it also makes a better sound when she's full metal! I'll have my pics up later this afternoon. |
can you take the governing screw off so the slide stop works or no? and cant wait to see pictures
Yup, removed the screw & changed out the recoil spring to allow slide lock to function...but you do have to change both, removing just the screw will not work. The short stroke of the slide must also be remedied by changing it to a full size 4.3 upgraded recoil spring, the stock Extreme is two springs.
You'll see once the pics are up. |
