Ok so i'm going to get a glock for a side arm. Here is what i can't figure out...

What to get? Glock 17? Glock 19? Glock 26? Glock 34?

Theirs a lot of choices for type and brand, and i would appreciate it if you could give me some personal feedback on your experience with your Glock(s). Please simply state the brand + glock type + personal experience.

I'm going through reviews after reviews atm and the personal experience from you guys will help also.

What i'm looking for in a Glock:
Metal slide and propane ready.
Very reliable.
Not to big, not to small (like a 1911)
$300 shipped max (i don't feel like pimping one out, throwing in upgrades, etc etc etc)

P.S: Feel free to throw in another GBB that you think would be suitable. I have owned a couple, mostly around the 1911 frame.

KSC Glocks. Aside from the 1911 variants it's the most popular guns around. I have G19 with 4 years on it (totally stock), another with a few weeks on it and a G23F that's about 3 years old at least.

They get pulled out so rarely these days, but I should start going pistols only just to get more time on them. Like in a real gunfight though, a pistol at 50 feet is a little tougher to master.

Thanks McGuyver, i am actually taking a very good look at the KSC G19. I find it sexy and people say its reliable. Also switching to one of those sexy RWC slides won't cost me an arm. Do you run propane on yours?

If you want reliable, don't get an autoGlock. Go with the semi-only variants: G17, G19
Preferably KSC because they're the Glock pros.

I vouch for HFC Glock 17, they are the first guns I have seen HFC get right it deserves the 9/10 on Arnies Airsoft (Currently down)

+1 on the KSC glocks. I'm loving my KSC GLock 17. Had it for over a year now with absolutely NO problems! They can take a beating and keep going. I vote for the 17 over the 19 or 23 simply because it's bigger a fits a lot better in my hand. Unless you have really small hands or are looking for a compact gun, go with a 17. Sex in your hand.

Green gas all the way. It would cost me too much money to get into propane. I have all the green I'll ever need (I had almost 100 cans of it until a few weeks ago). Never a problem, ever.

And the 23F runs just fine on green. I needed to lube it up though after it sat for 2 years.

What about mags guys, any problems with those? My WA 1911 mags were a pain >_>

$25 for a propane adapter is too expensive?

Also, despite what cbcsteve says, DO NOT get an HFC Glock.

VERY unreliable.

Personally, KSC - Glock 17 - Propane. Have had two of them (Dual Wielding: word cannot describe how awesome this is) for over 2 years with only one problem: one of them (the one I installed a metal slide) has a tendency to only partially cycle the slide now and then.

Four KSC mags, each one holds enough propane to get about 70 rounds out before needing a refill.

Just don't drop them onto the hard floor. :(

I have one mag for the G19 that was a dud from new. The pin holes for the bottom plate are not true, and it leaks gas. Plus the outlet valve is toast. I keep it around to rob things from when I drop one or something.

My old G19 is the Japan version (they say ASGK on the box). The newer one is a Taiwan version (no ASGK on box). They have historically been $20-$30 difference at the Asian retailers, but I have no idea what really makes them different. Both have the same trades.

What makes you say that? You have tried one?
