excellent goggles

is there a more or less ultimate pair of goggles out there? I just got a MICH helmet and im looking for some goggles that wont fog up too much with balaclava on. yeah i could just browse the goggles out there but i feel like i should ask people who have actually used a few different pairs...suggestions?

ESS have a wide range of ballistic goggles. Fogging depends on how much heat you generate, your position, wind... Some people use turbofans with their goggles with mixed results. Keeping your nose under a balaclava won't help dissipate the heat.

For me, I stick with ESS ICE 2.4 and NVG.

I run ess landops, fit with helmet perfect, fog like a mofo for me so i had to get a fan added. But ingeneral Ess work well and fit with helmet well

any thermal goggles don't fog up even if you tried.

I have a CF CG 634 helmet. I use ESS Land Ops goggles. Only used them one game, and not with a balaclava, but had no fogging issues.

I just picked up some ESS Profile NVG's and im really impressed so far. I only started to fog a bit in the bush while sitting still. After a little while though no fogging at all.

Anyways they're made to be used with helmets but fit nice and snug even without. Really low profile so you wont have any issues with viewing whatever type of sights you're using.

awsome thank you... yah the reason i asked is cause i have like 6 pairs sitting on my shelf at work for the past 5 monrhs collecting dust. I just havent tried them in the feild. But if the performance is good, i guess i just might have to. :)

With a coating like "Hardium" how can they NOT be good? lol

Seriously though, I'm not familiar with those, so I can't say for sure.

I have tried 3 pairs of thermals and they all fogged on me.

I use ESS Profile Turbofan goggles, on the low setting its hard to hear the fan even when its dead quiet in the middle of the night and they are actually designed for use with helmets. Their expensive but worth every penny.

I have a pair of Vyken's Flakjak goggles. Check them out. They do not fog up at all and are very comfortable.

I use JT Spectra Flex 8 Thermal paintball mask. I just ripped the goggle off the mask. Never fogged up, NEVER
