Noob has a question
So yeah, I've recently been thinking about buying an airsoft gun just to mess around with with some of my friends while out at the cabin. I wanted to look around here but I have to be "Age Verified." Now, I have read how to become "Age Verified" but in Newfoundland, there's not many events held anywhere. Also, does anybody know if there are any web sites that sell Airsoft guns in Canada or imports them to Canada?
Thanks for the help everyone. Edit: Just noticed that St. John's hasn't gotten overlooked, good stuff! |
Read the FAQ section at the top ,it can help you out !

I mean just get a rifle to shoot some water bottles something to do in my spare time away from civilization. Besides, I can't really partake in any events locally seeing as there are hardly any due to the fact I live in one of the smaller provinces off the mainland. Not quite sure what your idea of a cabin is, but in newfoundland, the cities aren't even very concentrated in regards to population.

Then if thats all you want it for get a pellet gun or a krakken or something if you dont want to actively partake in the canadian airsoft community.
No need to get bent out of shape about what I am saying but irresponsable airsofting is what we want to avoid and wandering neighbours eyes are one way to draw unintended foucus unto the sport. |

if you're just going to be "messing around" and not actually playing in any games, you should head over to "d and l airgun" (google that). Pellet rifles/pistols are much cheaper than any airsoft replica's out there.

i can fully see the reason behind wanting a fully automatic plinker for outdoor targets away from population... sure a pellet gun can take out bottles just fine.. but can it do a row of bottles in 3 seconds?
either way, in this matter i think a krakken would be just fine. or some other 'president's choice' airsoft brand. |
I have to disagree with some of this, if your far out and in your own cabin on a lake somewhere no reason not to get a airsoft gun. A lot of people collect them and have them on display in their house but don't even play games. What I'm saying I don't see any issues with being a "collector" and pinking off cans when you feel. Just be responsible and understand some people (nabours, hikers, ect) may believe they're real guns if seen from a distance.

Everybody here is right! Just get a pellet gun if your going to be "Messing around" Cause Airsoft guns out here buddy? Pretty Expensive. But if you really really want an AIRSOFT gun? Try 007 airsoft, or buyairsoft.ca those are some pretty fine sites.

Please don't drag up old threads that have been resolved just to add minimal information. Thank you kindly.
