DRY SHOOTING?

is it ok to fire gun when no bbs are in chamber? thanks

Its okay for you to once and a while on accident but just dont do it. I had this little crappytire gun (No more of those) and It dryfired to much and the barrel shot out. But those are plastic ones. If you get a gun with metal insides, then Im not really sure what it does. I just know its bad.

The quick and simple answer is NO. Dry firing causes the piston to slam into the front of the mech box harder than normal because there is not the same air resistance that is created as when there is a BB in the barrel. There are many schools of thought on this subject, but that is the simple answer.
