For ACU loadout, is belt worn Outside of the uniform or looped into the trousers?
 

I've seen people playing airsoft with utility belts that have drop pouches and holsters attached to them. And at the same time, you don't tuck the ACU Jacket into your trousers, instead you wear them outside. So then... where does the belt go? Over the Untucked ACU Jacket, hanging on the clothing, or looped round the belt link in the ACU trousers?

I wear my duty belt over my jacket, others on my team tuck their jacket in, but I don't think many guys run the duty belts thru the belt loops.

What is comfortable to you

One belt for your pants, and then a duty belt over your shirt for all your pouches.

Ah I see. But doesn't the belt slip up and down if it's not fastened to anything? And won't you look tardy with an untucked shirt?

Not at all.

K, so we've established the fact that we still look like lean mean killing machines with untucked shirts.

What about the secureness of the belt? I don't want to be running for cover, or rushing someone, and then have the belt around my ankles making for a spectacular trip and consequent dive into the bushes, raking up a plethora of leaves.

Oh, btw I have a Multicam Loadout, perhaps a blast belt would be better for that? Answer the 1st question first, though.

I am assuming that you actually have a waistline? If that's the case then just adjust the duty belt so that it is snug. The weight of a dropleg c/w sidearm is fairly substantial so make sure it is snug but not to the point of being uncomfortable. Pull your BDU down so that it does not bunch up when the belt is adjusted and you'll do just fine.

I also assume you are new to airsoft and/or don't have a lot of field experience. Employ the buddy system on the field and you'll be OK. Hopefully you will have a great time. Good luck

Assuming your hips are wider then your stomach you shouldn't have a problem. I normally wear a duty belt and a regular belt. With my fleck gear I forget about the belts, and wear suspenders and a webbing set. As it's been said, it's all down to comfort...

ACU shirts are afaik not meant to be worn tucked in.

If you plan to put stuff on a belt, it needs to go on a duty belt 99% of the time.

The belt goes over your untucked jacket.

If you are really finiky about stuff you can buy suspenders for belts. Most people can make due with just the belt. Yes belts can shift, especially with rapid movement, just readjust them then, these aren't bras, its combat equipment, its not a perfect system, but it works well enough, or at least most people just deal with the issues.

I've never seen a camouflage jacket thats been tucked in before, the idea is for it to be baggy at the bottom to help break up your silhouette.
And to agree with everyone else, trouser belt for your trousers, duty belt worn over your untucked jacket.

Okay, I've got my answers here. Utility belt outside, trouser belt inside. Excellent. Do you wear the belt above your hipbone, where there are layers of "fat" that everyone has, or do you wear it below?

wear it where it wont slip off, its not really that difficult. If it slips off your ass its too low.

So. Wear it outside then, at an area in which it is not easy to slip off. Ah yes. Thanks for the replies. Oh, and I ordered an OD duty belt for Multicam. Think it'll match?
