Airsoft Streetsweeper

Does any company actually make one? I know there's the MGL that looks SIMILAR to the Streetsweeper. I guess it could work well as an AEG.

Something like this?

To the best of my knowledge, it was never made. Looking at the mag, I'm getting a hard on 'cause you could get to stuff a 3.5oz CO2 tank in there and make a reliable gas shotgun...

reminds me of the DAO-12 from BF2.

ProbeJax September 26th, 2007 22:19

That's exactly what the Streetsweeper is.

Actually, that picture up there has a really long barrel. I like that shorter barrel. It's actually reasonable present in media, so I don't know why it hasn't been made. (Battlefield 2, Miami Vice, Hard Boiled, Smoking Aces, Syphon Filter, Resident Evil, True Crime..you get the idea.)

As far as airsoft goes this might be the most effective gun that is similar in design and appearance.

Yeah, that was the GL that I was talking about.I take it no one's made a USAS-12 yet either? Anyone tried converting from an M16 type?

mateba September 27th, 2007 00:33

Redwolf has a sagia-12 but its a pitiful attempt. Its a RWC AEG. I don't think the shotguns have blossomed yet because the shells are not disposable and no one wants to worry about loosing them. Other than that they're cool as hell. My girl friend even wants one.

ProbeJax September 27th, 2007 19:34

Well, I figure with the USAS and the Streetsweeper, there don't have to be shells. (Drum mags for the USAS, straight pouring BBs into the cylinder for the Streetsweeper).

The only thing that even looks near like that that I've seen was a gernade launcher that held 6 40mm gernades.

For an airsoft gun to exist, they first need to own or obtain a RS or a replica so they can copy and airsoftize it.

ProbeJax September 27th, 2007 21:42

Hard with the Streetsweeper, but not too bad for a USAS. Then again, how the hell did they get their hands on a W2000 or an F2000 or a grenade launcher?
