THANKS

I'm looking for a new battery pack and saw this http://cgi.ebay.com/Sanyo-ENELOOP-9-...QQcmdZViewItem

I have many enloops at home, enough make a few packs (8 for $20). Will have to mod gun slightly to make it fit.

Anyhow my question is: Is there any difference between NimH
AA 2200 mAh 1.2v battery and
2/3 2200 mAh 1.2v battery?

Are they identical in terms of performance characteristics, except for the form factor?

yes

the capacity to drive current of a cell is related to the diameter (when cylindrical).

2/3A cells and AA cells have different diameters, 2/3A being larger, they can push more current. If your gun is upgraded, both of these packs won't be enought to rack you spring.

Excellent info and thanks. Exactly what I could not find after googling.

I suppose that's dependent on what other upgrades you have in your gun, and how strong the upgraded spring is.

FYI, my P90 can crank a 420fps spring with usable ROF with an Eagle Force 1300L motor and Systema helical torque up gears on just an 8.4v 600mAh mini pack.
