Verification
 
Is it possible to get verified useing live video say with yahoo messenger or msn messenger? I live about 3 to 4 hours from Toronto or Ottawa. I'm from Cardiff Ont. which is near Bancroft Ont.

No. In person verification only. If you can't take the time to spend a few minutes to get verified then maybe airsoft isn't for you. The classifieds are not going to disappear over night and if they did it would be because airsoft was banned. If you don't have time to be verified you don't have time to play.

According to the age verification rules, you have to meet a rep in person. Your website looks pretty good though.

Yeah, I've been trying to get verified for two weeks now, and no luck ;-(
I PMed 5 people, I live in Toronto and can travel anywhere but no one apparently wants to get me age verified. I even went to AirsoftArmoury store - which is closed now (just my luck)

It's no that I don't have the time it's just I'm in a remote area. 6 hours for a round trip is along time. With gas prices as high as they are and the price of airsoft guns as high as they are being on a limited budget some things take priority. Hard to save these days. I do think that live video verification would be an asset though.

I can see how that might make sense, BUT perhaps you can just hit up a game and arrange a rental at the site?

Unless your not looking for the game portion of this hobby.

I feel your pain! I'm also a fair drive from the closest verifier and have no scheduled stops in Winnipeg this this summer (all my planes are flying out of T-bay this summer). bu tthen again, I'm going to be right in the middle of Hamilton in sept an dI'm planning on getting verified then.

Just talk to some reps, maybe meet half way, or plan a day trip for shopping (go check out some surplus stores in T.O or something).

Is the Verification still being done so you can buy from Canadian airsoft retailers? I wasn't asked for my verification for my purchase from an airsoft retailer? Or is the verification only needed on this forum?

It's for ASC only. If a retailer chooses to verify your age, that's their business.
