Ok here's a trial run. In the USA House Resolution 1022 will be the strictest 'assault weapons' ban yet. However it doesn't just affect firearms, it bans accessories.

So maybe a good starter course would be to get the word out to American players, that their forward grips, railed handguards and folding/adjustable stocks are in danger. Hell, their pistol grips themselves could become prohibited items.

Plus, if history repeats itself, no law is complete without criminalizing replicas, so I half expect that to be added when it leaves committee.

So all we ought to do is mention this to people, that it's something they ought to be aware of. There's no co-sponsors yet, but last time it was proposed it got 93, and now the Dems control the house and senate.

If history repeats itself, such a ban could also be quietly allowed to expire.

Seriously though, looks like they're still using the same retarded definitions as the original Brady bill.
