Questions concerning the TM AK

I'm planning on getting a TM AK47, but I have a few questions.

1. Straight out of the box, what would the rate of fire of this gun be?

2. If I had a scope attached, what would be the max effective range of this gun when aiming at a person? What about when it is upgraded?

3. What scope would you recommend for this gun?

Depends on the battery you use. Generally around 800 rpm with 8.4 volts.

Completely speculative as it also concerns wind, bb weight, and other factors. Stock, a TM gun has a mamimum effective range of about 35-40 yards. Upgraded? 60+ is not uncommon.

How do you plan to mount it? There is no scope rail on it, meaning you have to buy a mount first. I prefer Russian optics on Russian guns - the Kobra red dot is nice, but will cost nearly as much as the gun itself.

+1 for no increased range.

a red dot scope will quicken your target aquisition time
a magnified scope will allow you to target far away enemies.
a sniper scope will allow you to see targets you couldn't possibly hope to hit

neither will increase the range of the gun, if they did, my guns would be up to the balls in scopes.

Just play with it stock and dont buy any of those fancy things yet. Know the game play the game then decide on what you want to upgrade.
