Sheriff's Department SWAT/ERT Kit
 

Hey guys, I'm in the process of putting together a Sheriff's department SWAT impression. I already have a Vietnam 173rd Abn impression and a modern military kit, but I wanted to do something different. I've also noticed that most people who put together a SWAT kit do the typical black, but having seen and research a few different police forces (US and Canada), I've decided that a few of the Sheriff's Departments have really nice kits in OD. In particular my kit is modeled after the Ada County Sheriff's and to a lesser extent L.A. County Sheriff's Departments.

Equipment That I have:

OD Replica PASGT Helmet
TM Benelli M3 Super 90 (Full Version) w/Shell holder sling and Buttstock Shell Holder
Combat boots
Spectra Leather Police Gloves
Sew on US Flag for BDU's
OD Name Tape (Back of vest)
Green SWAT Vest
Velcro Sheriff Patches (Large for back of vest. Small for front)
Velcro US Flag (Front of vest)
KJ Works Glock 23
Black Cordura Knee Pads
Green Sheriff's Department Ball Cap
Black Duty Belt (Baton pouch, light pouch, radio pouch, handcuff case etc)
Black Tactical Leg-Drop Holster
OD BDU's
Black Toque
Black Face mask

What I still need:
Black or OD Leg Drop Mag Dump Pouch
Magnum SWAT/Police Boots
Various bits and Pieces (Replica Pepper Spray Can, CS Gas Canisters, Flashbang etc, Heavy duty tie wraps, Smoke grenades)
Sheriff Department Patches for BDU's Pref. (Ada County Sheriff)

I've seen a lot of tac teams go with LE CIRAS, DBT Predators, etc. You might want to consider that.

The team I'm doing the impression of uses the more classical swat vest. I like the CIRAS gear, but it just doesn't fit the impression. Thanks for the suggestion though Duff Man.

good look, no pasgat, or bolles?
are you going to be running a mp5 or ar?

where do you get the shoulder pads?

I have a PASGT helmet(2nd pic), don't have bolles yet. As for my weapon choice I'm going to be running with my M3 Super 90 and Glock 23. Although I do have an MP5A4 that needs some work that I might fix up and use as well.

As for the shoulder pads, they came with the vest as well as the groin apron.

I got pretty much everything off of ebay. The Tactical vest set (Shoulders, groin apron, collar) came from eStore AirsoftDragon. I believe he had more as well. Not as cheap as some of the similar black vests, but harder to find. And like I said before EVERYONE seems to do the black SWAT kit, and I was never one to blend in with the crowd! :D

HaHaHa that MP5 is now mineeeeee!
