To answer the questions regarding the bird..it will be a big bird this year. and it is going no matter what this year as I have 2 perhaps a 3rd to fall back on in different area's of MB. This year is looking good! :salute:

2 ... .5? Niiice. :D

Shit, might just need to make a trip out there...

MacRae May 6th, 2006 00:22

yea it was supposed to be KS2 last year..we got flooded out. so now its 2.5. or something.

Neverhood May 6th, 2006 12:14

Signed up! Gonna be like nothing you've seen before!

Falcon_MB May 6th, 2006 16:35

Signed up as well. Go Canada! Always have wanted to pick a fight with the yanks... scary part is the scenario is almost feasible.

Being in KS1 was one of THE most awesome experiences in airsoft I've ever had. Getting evaced and dropped by a helo was too damned awesome.

Can't wait for this... an even bigger helo this time! And even more people! If you go to only one airsoft event this year this is definitely the one to make.

Hardcore HARD!

Blackthorne May 6th, 2006 20:45

Damnit man! I thought this was supposed to happen near the END of August.

You still have some references to that time frame. Probably should get rid of those to avoid any confusion!

If I can move my vacation around, I'll be there..

WOW. Sniper H untand then Keystone a week apart. Gonna be a rough week!

Better stock up on bug juice!

MacRae May 7th, 2006 01:09

there were never references to the end of august.. there was a suggestion it was the last weekend in july as often the august long weekend falls, however we are going with the official aug/long weekend 5, 6th.

thanks
CT

i am trying to find out exactly how to get there. what is the closest major city where either via rail or grayhound would go? or possibly even by plane. iv spent 3 hours looking at the site but couldent find that thanks guys.

paranoid987 May 7th, 2006 19:01

Winnipeg. The primary game location is about 40 mins north of the city.

SockMonkey May 7th, 2006 19:50

you DONT want to bus out there. It is seriously the shits. I have done it 4 times and swore never again.

PTE. Pyle May 7th, 2006 20:00

thanks sockmonkey. i was looking at west jet and its almost the same to fly as take the bus and way less time.

SockMonkey May 7th, 2006 21:19

ya man, its far better to fly.

MacRae May 7th, 2006 23:02

For those of you thinking of FLYING:

Your AEG's need to be in a LOCKED, AIRLINE APPROVED case. please do not have them loaded. ;)

Yah and if you can actually afford to fly Air Canada, they may ding you $65 bucks EACH WAY for the case.

I know they are going to start doing it for real firearms, not sure what they would say to airsoft.
