Why on god's green earth would you want to put anything other than a systema in a systema? the PTW system is by far superior to anything else I have ever seen, and you want to replace it? tell you what, I'll trade you my (soon to be completed) C8 that's been built from assorted parts, and I'll take that Systema off your hands.

B.A.M April 25th, 2006 16:41

He's probably talking about the metal bodies themselves.. not the whole systema ptw

Blue aimpoints
PRACTICAL 2 TACTIC-LOL
coming up on the history channel

Eddie April 25th, 2006 18:29

The flashy non black Aimpoints used for Comp shotting. Of course no ones stoping anyone for using it for other purposes.

They are also cheaper and have a 7 MOA dot then the Mil versions which have a 1-4 MOA Dot.

spleen April 25th, 2006 18:56

That's the aimpoint I use. It was hella cheaper than the ML2, and the 7MOA dot is great for airsoft. I don't need a dot designed for shooting up to 300m on my airsoft...

Of course I painted mine flat black ASAP.

And I really want one of those mechboxes, too.

I checked PGC's site, no where on it does it mention a new V2 Split gearbox. They do have a Metal Gearbox for teh Star M249 and L85 coming.

ToRN April 25th, 2006 20:25

My mistake, I thought he was talking about the PTW, it's all I can think of lately... drool

Xepharo April 25th, 2006 20:40

Waww.. I'll need to get that when it comes out too.
I wonder if it's reinforced.

Interesting. As long as it works. Armalites are finiky enough, I'm wondering just how well these are made. The spring velocities look exagerated too.

spleen May 6th, 2006 10:48

We've never really used M130s or M150s, but the velocity for the M120 actually seems a bit low. We usually see 400-420 for an M120!
