TM Glock 17 users
 

Hello All,

it is recommended to use Duster Gas for this gun which I have exclusively used. My question is has anyone used anything but duster gas in the g17? If so did you notice much of a difference and did it mess up any of the internals over time?

I use green gas / propane in mine, with TM mags.

Only thing I have to note is that using green gas (and an upgraded outer barrel with a compensator) required me to get an upgraded hammer spring which I did.

I use green gas on my g17 (pistol primary), still functions after 5000+ rounds. I recommend you reinforce the front post of the lower frame with JB weld, otherwise it will break and you'll have to get a new lower frame or glue the whole front chassis to the lower.
