Anyone here tap their GBB pistol mags for HPA?

I have been seeing some people tapping their GBB magazines for HPA lately. Wondering if anyone here has done it and if its worth it? I see the kit at Amp Airsoft and was extremely curious but wanted some feedback before I take the plunge.

Thanks!

I tried it briefly, it's nice because it's cleaner, every shot has strong recoil, and there's no cool down, but I had to turn my psi up to like 110 to cycle properly, and my hpa rifle runs at like 50 psi, so it's not really something that suited me. Still like the idea tho. :-)

(Also prepare to add time to your reloads tho, especially under stress, there's a lot of bits you need to juggle, swapping the air line from mag to mag)

I am currently working on a project that makes my GBB rifle like a Datona gun. Its a HPA system that involves a Lonex Flash AEG M4 Mag, a regular GBB rifle mag with a hpa valve/line, magazine coupler and a paintball tank with a low pressure regulator.

Yup, It's pretty fun it kicks harder than green gas.

Here's a short video

Please note that the pistol is short stroked and doesn't lock back.

It's great if you like strong recoil, using your pistol as your primary in winter, and taking much longer to change mags.
Or if you run a 1911.
Otherwise, useless.
