CYMA MP5 Hop Up - Replacement Available?
 

Not sure if the specific model matters or not but i have the CYMA MP5J(CM049J) Electric Blowback.

The stock plastic hop up is crap.. the adjustment arm is always loose despite shimming and all of those mods..

Anybody have experience updatng with an Aftermaket parts?

Ok then .. I guess there are no aftermarket parts

I ended up modding the hop unit by replacing the hop arm pin with a nylon bolt! ... Damm thing is so tight now it ain't moving... I can still adjust the hop of course but it's nice as snug

Take pics and show us. If it's a standard v2 hop up unit it should work with any TM spec v2 unit.

I'm currently working on a clients gun that feeds to many bbs into the chamber so this information would be quite useful. The only thought I have had was searching for an older G and G one or possibly an ICS if they are an Mp5 hop up not a V2.
