Considering Slides and Barrels for TM G17
 

I was wondering if anyone had any experience with the current gunsmodify slid/ barrel kit? It's apparently new for 2016.

I currently have a pgc kit, but the colors are so weird they don't match. The slide is kind of a brown, but the set does function nicely. (I went off of e-luder's write up, but some time has passed from when that was written.)

Also considering a slide like this: (which is a guarder)

Could anyone recommend a barrel for it?

Either of these would be used on a guarder gen 3 frame. I'm a bit concerned with using a guarder slide/kit because it seems they aren't preferred as much around here...

I don't have experience with either but do not use the Ace1Arms slide kit. Visually it's pretty cool but there's a lot of fitment problems.

There's a G17 upgrade thread around here that lists parts by manufacture and how good they are.

Weird, I am using a guarder slide and frame with zero issues.

I would go Guns Modify, Detonator, Guarder, or Airsoft Surgeon.

I've used all and that's my order of preference.
