Ares M4 proprietary parts and TB barrel length

Hello, I have an Ares S class M4. The problem is BB's won't feed into it after 2 months of gaming. Magazines have been ruled out as multiple magazines were tested of various brands (KA, KWA, cYMa). It only dry fires. None fed the ares, but they worked just fine with my Kingarms m4 as well as other people's guns. All magazines tested were MIDCAPS. Only upgrade to the gun is a madbull TB inner barrel and gun was performing flawlessly with it for two weeks. The gun still cycles, and upon removing upper receiver, the air nozzle still moves back and forth with each trigger pull. I was told the tappet plate could be the issue. I have yet to open the gear box but need to know if I can jist buy an aftermarket tappet plate for V2 gearbox or do I have to procure one from ares?

Second unrelated question is regarding barrel length and cylinder type. I have A 407 mm modify inner barrel and a Type D king arms cylinder, the packaging for which states it is for barrels measuring 300-400 mm. Would the 7 mm difference really make an impact on my fps (drop it)?

Are bb's falling out of the barrel when you're cycling the gearbox with a mag in? If they are not, inspect the hop up chamber for abnormalities.

If they are falling out, but not shooting far, check for compression by putting a tissue paper in front of the nozzle and cycle the gearbox. It should fly outwards significantly.

If your nozzle is moving back and forth it usually indicates that the tappet plate is functional unless it has lost its shape from wear and tear.

Problem appears to be solved. Tapped plate is fine, as was the compression. I had shimmed the hop up unit with a rubber o ring, which was pushing the unit very well into the gearbox, gave me +8 fps when it was working but it pushed the air nozzle too much into the hopup unit so that bbs never reached the horizontal channel of the hopup. Removed the rubber o ring, put the little hopup unit spring back on and test fired 6 shots and aeg is shooting fine. Will do more extensive testing when I am at siege airsoft next as I can't do much at home. Thank you for your help. Now if only someone would tell me about the cylinder and 7 mm.
