help identifying gun

Hello. I need some help identifying a gun I have purchased or more importantly finding info about it online
I bought the gun from a friend who didn't know anything about it
The box says it's a Classic Army M16 RIFLE AR003M-X
On the gun it says M16A2 . However I cannot find any information online about this gun. Everything I find is for an m15a4 same model ar003m-X .
Can someone who knows something help me lol

The M15a4 will be exactly the same on the inside. The only difference is the externals.
http://www.classicarmy.com/product/ar003m_x is what you have. Any 2015 model CA guns will have the same guts and specs.

Awesome thanks Spike . So if I was to upgrade any parts for the m15a4 will fit ? Like tight bore barrel ext?
That's kinda what I need to know .Is what to look for for upgrades

most if not all v2 parts will be drop in. CA gearboxes are a bit strange though, a few parts can be off spec. If you upgrade the guts, you should measure the exact length of the nozzle, some brands use slightly different lengths, this also makes it worse as the hop-up castings are all different so the hop up and nozzle are usually a matched pair, but the front of the gearbox is also an issue as it can sit a tiny bit farther forward or backwards from brand to brand. This causes headaches with feeding or air sealing.

Always take the part from your gun and measure before ordering an upgrade part. But yes, the length of your barrel should be 509.
