KWA USP Match questions

Hey,

So two questions regarding a KWA USP Match:

1) Will a RA-Tech system seven npas kit lower the fps properly?

2) Will a KSC metal outer barrel fit on a Kwa? Barrel is made by RA-Tech as well.

Thanks!

1. That's all it's made for: Controlling the FPS.
2. It'll fit, but you may need to file certain things. KSC and KWA share a lot in common, and the USP line is identical between KWA and KSC. System 7 = NS2 System. The best is always to buy a matched set of slide and barrel, because "Airsoft" isn't known for it's stellar tolerances in machining.

I'll add that I personally would keep the plastic barrel with the stock slide, because Ra-Tech's steel is heavy, and will eat through the softer metal of the KWA slide. If you get an aftermarket slide one day, get a matched set with a metal barrel and slide.

Problem being I cant seem to find anyplace that makes a metal kwa match slide and barrel.

What would the slide be anyway? And then Id have to get a separate outer barrel since it extends into the match compensator.

Could I just by an RA-Tech USP .45 slide and a RA-Tech metal outer barrel for the Match? Since they are made of the same materials. Or would I run into some problems?

I can get an outer barrel from RA-Tech for $50.

Just wanted to know if I can by a separate slide from RA-Tech and this barrel...since they are the same metals would it be alright? And what slide does the usp match use? A .45?

Yup, USP Match is just a fancied up USP 45

The USP Match is built around the USP Tactical (uses the same adjustable sights). So it uses the Tactical slide and a longer outer barrel, plus the compensator that is a rail attachment. The kit BioRage linked is used to convert a USP Tactical to a USP Match.

For a Shooters Design kit, here's a link, but out of stock: http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/shooters-...-s7-black.html

The Ra-Tech slide for USP will work with the USP Match, but it's close to 300$. You're better getting the Shooters Design kit, or ordering replacement slides from KWA at this price.

Whoops :)

I had the Shooters design slide and outer barrel. The outer barrel would not correctly seat seat the hop up unit and inner barrel correctly and was unusable.

Presently I have the Ra tech steel slide and outer barrel.
Compared to the SD set up the ROF is much lower as the steel slide takes longer to cycle.
I don't have any cycling problems but I do have stronger springs installed, I also have an NPAS installed.

I had also run the Ra tech outer barrel with the SD slide and didn't see any wear issues on the alum. slide.

The Ra tech slide and outer add a bit of weight to the pistol and I think it just looks totally cool. ( pretty pricey though)

As for mags, try to buy the Umarex branded ones.
They seem to have better lips/grooves for the mag catch to hold on to.
The one that came stock with my first Match had barely there lips and the mag would just fall out every time you shot
