thanks so a 550 would stick out the end quite a bit hmm

If by quite a bit you mean 41mm, then yes.

Could always just use a longer muzzle brake.

Just get a 509, there isn't really a difference between that and 550.

+1, these aren't real firearms, you won't even notice a difference between a 509 and 550

next question how do i get the actual hop-up/barell out
something to do with the screw on top of body above hop up or just a matter of twisting the hopup unit

If it's anything like my Umarex G36CV, you push the hop-up in, and turn the hopup unit (spring loaded) counter-clockwise about 90 degrees (looking from the gearbox towards the muzzle).

yes figured it out is it normal for hop up to sit crooked in resting position mine is tilted to the right instead of straight :S

WHOABLAH July 10th, 2013 10:45

I believe that is normal, both my g36's does the exact same thing. But when you put the outer barrel and gearbox on it should straighten the whole system out.

really mine is still extremely tilted ill play around with it again later i guess
