HK45 Not Shooting

Hey everyone,

It looks like valve on the magazine is not being pushed when the trigger is being pulled.
There is a little spring out of place, that I guess pushes the firing pin(?) down
into the mag valve.

I haven't been able to find it anywhere, but can someone direct me to a detailed tear-down of the HK45 so I can get in an fix this?

Thanks!

The hammer spring?

The hammer spring is the only part that can move the firing pin forward. If there's not enough tension, you will get a light strike.

To access the hammer spring, you have to remove the backstrap. From there, you will physically see if the hammer spring is functioning correctly.

I don't know if this is the issue though. The hammer spring spring installed in your gun is an uprated one and should give a good decent strike. The only way I see it creating a problem is if the spring is not seated correctly on the hammer strut of is the the hammer strut itself is not seated correctly either on the hammer or the strut weight.

At what stage are you pulling the trigger?

If you double action the gun too much you can wear down both the hammer and the trigger bar. This causes the hammer to prematurely release during the trigger pull. Thus, it won't have the velocity needed to push the firing pin forward on the valve.

For a complete guide on taking it down, the KWA HK45 is the exact same internally as the KWA USP series. Look for any videos on youtube that show how to takedown the USP and follow it.

Hey there, just to keep everyone updated, the issue was the impact block not seating correctly.

Apparently, the spring that allows the impact head to hit the magazine nozzle came out of place.

KWA was very helpful and I had it in about a week!
