UMAREX H&K G36 Ranged upgrade question

Hello,

I'm pretty new to airsoft, and have mostly been using other people's spare weapons for a while until I was ready to get my own.

I'm looking at getting the UMAREX H&K G36CV (made by ARES) however, since most of the fields we play on are outdoors I would like the ability to convert it to a more ranged/field sniper option (with the ability to easily convert this back for CQC matches).

I'm not too sure what I would need to be able to do this, or if it is even possible with this gun, so I'm looking for a bit of advice. Any and all help is of course appreciated.

Good extended inner barrel good hop up and rubber and either a silencer or outer barrel extension.
You just swap out the inner and attach the outer extension.
Tho just by putting a good inner and hop rubber you wouldnt really need to swap back n forth. Also youll wanna check what the fps is youll likely need to downgrade the spring for indoor to 350fps and that will work fine for outdoor too

It's got the quick change spring so it's easy enough for you to change the FPS for different roles.

I'd say the most important part you need is a good hop-up. Look into R-hop if you are up for the challenge. It'll give you better range and consistency.

The G36CV has an inner barrel of about 265mm and a ported cylinder, which probably won't give you very much power. A combination of quality inner barrel and heavier weight bb might give you the range you want.

It won't turn your gun into a sniper, but it might pass as a DMR.

On my Umarex, I converted the barrel to a 407mm with outer barrel extension, but I don't switch back and forth. On this gun though, changing the inner barrel only takes minutes. Even then, I'm not sure if it's worth the hassle.
