Milsig Darkworx - where is the documentation?

I just placed an order on a Darkworx M9 GBB Pistol for 139.99 from milsig.ca to replace my current main sidearm, a WE Dragon Hi-Capa Dragon 5.1 Rev B. which is a bit shaky when holstered, and I just wanted a new gun. I tried looking for reviews on the gun, but there doesnt seem to be anything related to it. Am I the only poor sucker who bought one? A friend of mine placed an order on a KWC Silver M9 GBB Pistol and his came up empty in the search too. Im beginning to think it is a slightly modified and rebranded JG M9, they look very similar, but im not sure. Did I buy an Okay gun? and where can I find some more conclusive info on it?

MaciekA August 23rd, 2012 14:15

Since it's their brand, why not ask Milsig?

ShelledPants August 23rd, 2012 14:17

It should be a big redflag that when you google "Darkworx M9" the only hits are for milsig or hero army in Canada.

It is a rebrand of something shitty.

milsig only gave me info I already knew, and they are the manufacturer, I wanted the opinion of a 3rd party to reduce bias.

First mistake

Not sure who makes it, my google-fu must be weak today
Sorry to hear about this man, hopefully you get lucky and it works great for you. Just because a company makes a lot of lemons, doesn't mean you won't find the odd one that works fine.

they had a sale :(
so does anyone know what rebranded gun it is?
google is being a bit stubborn at this matter too.

Save $50 more and buy yourself KWA M9 PTP from more reputable retailer.
Needless to say it will be Much Much Better gun than this Darkworx something.

Ok, i should learn to read better. You already bought it. Good luck to you!

hey guys.. I just bought a piece of crap... but can you pat me on the head and tell me everything will be ok?

I'm really worried that this piece of crap will turn out to be a piece of crap.

Happens to everyone once.. be a little less impulsive... and a little more discriminating.. and your money will go farther.. good luck with the new gun.. hope it's not a piece of crap

I tend to do my research before purchasing stuff.

DustMagnet August 23rd, 2012 17:43

Of course it's on sale - who the hell is going to pay $300 for a plastic-frame GBB? :-?

I can guarantee you Milsig is not the manufacturer. It's rebranded from something.

Cocoa Puffs August 23rd, 2012 23:54

Well, at least I can still give a review or something on the gun to provide info for other airsofters as to what their purchasing. :< Except No chrono, but im willing to bet It should be able to do the advertised 240.... i mean 240 FPS isnt that hard a number to hit right?

yeh my bad, at least I did research when I bought my first LPAEG, and got a decent one. although I cant say 400FPS (more like 370) is low powered. Probably gunna end up customizing the hell out of it, until its pretty much a new gun.

I actually had to Google the term LPAEG.

All reviews point to that they suck.

Why would you intentionally buy a product which is designed to be under powered with poor quality?

redneck12 August 25th, 2012 13:19

His research was most likely a few Youtube reviews made by 9 yr olds saying how awesome the gun is.

Gunny_McSmith August 25th, 2012 13:40

Tip: Don't buy from Milsig.... its overpriced, and crap....
