Age Verification. My local AV's are AFK...

Makes 2 month's I've tried to get a hold of a AV and they never respond... What else can I do because I'm getting no where at this rate. My location would be Montreal/Laval (Quebec), typically north shore, hence, Laval preferably. Thanks

Go to a game?

There is at least one AVer at most event...

We have lives and do this on our own time. Do not expect us to verify you at your convenience, or (in my case) to travel to Laval from the south shore.

Have you tried to go to a game to get verified ? Valley field on the 25th, at least 2verifiers will be there.

Come September I will start to have verifying sessions and info once per month.

Yeah of course, we all have lives, but I would have thought that at least once in two months one of the AV's would have checked their messages. I'm getting my pistol next week, so at that point i'll be ready to attend a match.

No idea why this is airsoft gun discussions: moved.

As for Montreal area verifiers, you pretty much have to go to games: I've tried meeting people individually and it quickly becomes unmanageable, not to mention expensive. For this reason I would never expect any of my verifiers to have to do it.

There's nothing stopping people from coming out to an event to get AV'd, meet the players and see how games work, even if they don't have any guns/gear yet: actually seeing how things work will give a new player a much better idea of what they actually need rather than what they think they need.

For those of us without wheels, is there maybe a car pool system for people on the island or south shore to events? Maybe we can organize as newbs and get there as a group, check things out. I just got my KA M4 but I have a lot of questions I'd like to ask and I'd like to see how the events work.

The Valleyfield game next week is the kind of venue to do exactly that, wether you have gear/gun or not. I can sit down with you guys and answer all your questions. And if you ask nicely, almost everybody will let you try stuff.

usually you meet the age verifiers at their work or closest possible to them. They usually take a good 30-45 mins to explain you most of the things.

Does he have access to the game directory if he's not already AV'd?

If you do have access just show up at a game, people will help you get av:)

I AV people when they show up for games. it usually takes 5 mins for the whole group: show me your id with picture, yep that's you, now write your info in this book: ASC name, real name, Date of Birth.

I agree that AV'ers should check their messages at least once a week. However; if your tge one who needs to be AV'ed you'll have to be responsible to make the trip. Walk, run, drive, fly, taxi, bus, etc. As an AV'er we only provide our time, not gas money. I will alert those further away next time I'll be in their area; but it can be short notice, or not for awhile.

My time is pretty flexible, as long as you make the trip to where I'm at.

I try to host AV nights out of town at least once a month, this gets a whe bunch out of the way at once. I usually try to give 2 weeks notice.

Some people have asked for me to drive over an hour to their house to be AV'd i'm sorry but if you cannot be bothered to jump on a city bus and meet me at the event then too bad.

that being said I have had members drive from vaughn to barrie to get av'd
