G&G F2000 spring adjust problem

Hey guys this is my first post on this site =P

basically if you dont already know, the G&G F2000 has a spring guide adjusting mechanism which allows you to screw the spring guide in and out ;)
However, i tried to turn it with a 4mm hex key and it wouldn't budge. I even took a pair of pliers and tried to turn it with that but no luck =[

I just wanted to ask if it's suppossed to be that stiff or is there something im missing here?

Thanks for the help =]

Is this for a quick change spring? If it is I believe but not 100% sure. But I believe you are supposed to push the allen key inwards and then turn. There may be tabs on the spring guide that prevent it from rotating by simply turning it. Not sure if your gun is like that. But on some quick change guns its that way.

thanks for the replies guys, i went ahead and bought a massive flathead screw driver today and it just won't budge =[
do you think G&G screwed it in incorrectly? i think it's kind of stuck.....

I have one myself and have never had a problem, is the adjuster screwed all the way out( towards the stock) or all the way in ( towards the muzzle), can u see any threads showing behind the adjuster? The hex head should screw in easily, then I would take and screw in the flathead up to the hex as a stop. It sounds like it might be cross threaded

Yea its screwed in quite deeply towards the muzzle
I think it's cross-threaded too :(
Im bringing it to the store today to ask them if they can help me fix it or order another one of these spring guides from g&g

okay i took it to the shop and they told me nothing was wrong with it and well basically it works now...
i think they screwed it in really tight and the shop just used a pistol drill =P
well thanks for the help guys =D
