Looking for a Match/Varmit style Handguard
So I'm getting a Madbull JP Rifles Upper and trying to build up a unique looking Match or Varmit type rifle since most people build up battle rifles. Since I can't find any Madbull JP Rifles 12" handguards anywhere (seems like it's EOL and out of production, if anyone can find a 12" one in stock anywhere please post up the link, if you have one you want to sell PM me and we can work out a price).
In short for now, I need to find an alternative match looking handguard. I know that the threading for the barrel nut is "Airsoft spec" so I'm guessing that I need an airsoft handguard. Looking at the Madbull handguards the only ones that pop out to me while retaining a "match" type look are the VTAC Battle Rails and the Troy Battle Rails. If anyone else has any suggestions it would be appreciated. I have no brand loyalty so long as it's a decently solid product. Also, I'm not really looking for the new Madbull PRI handguards. |
I think your best bet is still the Madbull VTAC and Troy extreme battle rails, i think G&P max a bushmaster kit as well that has the bushmaster hand guard too!

AFAIK real steel handguards will work on AEG receivers. Did you look at the real JP Rifles handguard?

Stealth, from what I understand real steel handguards only work on G&P uppers because it has coarser "real steel" threading for the front end barrel nut and delta unit.
Comparing a G&P upper and my Madbull/CA upper it seems like the threading is different. Also, Madbull has a pretty specific barrel lug/nut attachment that's specifically for G&P/WE/WA uppers which also reinforces the notion that G&P does something a bit different and the threading is more for real steel. So to reaffirm, I am attempting to build up an airsoft "Match Rifle" on a Madbull body. I have a Madbull "CA 2 pin" "JP Rifle" upper on order ATM and am looking for something to mate up with it. |

Just read the thread.
Anyone know where to get the G&P Bushmaster Kit? |
Chiba I think you might find them on the Asian websites, or see if Airsoftparts.ca can hook you up.
