Threadless silencer adaptor for Echo 1 M14 socom

I'm trying to fit a silencer (probably about <200mm) onto my Echo 1 M14 socom which uses a threadless flash hider. Does anyone see a problem with using the adaptor in the link above? I realize there may be cosmetic inconsistency with the barrel width and the hex screws will probably score the inner barrel, but I'm not too concern with that.

My other idea is to custom fabricate a piece from scratch but I think it's cheaper to modify an existing one.

You will bend the inner barrel. It is made for pistols, and then again people damage the inner.
In your case, the rifle is a lot longer, so any bangs on the silencer will scrap the inner.

Best bet would be to make yourself a silencer.

Or have the outerbarrel threaded (even with the 3 notches, there is enough material for 14mm threads. That was what I wanted to do with mine.

Just some someone that is willing to do it. Some people on here are machinists, they can do it.

I think I agree with you. Bending the barrel doesn't sound fun. I will have to make my own barrel adaptor.

I actually have this on my KP-06, and yes it does scratch the inner barrel (Falcon 162.5mm 6.03mm tightbore, nothing significant and i do not suggest you affix this to an aluminum barrel i.e. madbull tightbores) however i too fret that if i screw in any type of flash hider or silencer on the threads it will bend/disfigure the barrel, so i just keep it on to hide the inner barrel sticking out :)

I totally forgot I have this at home. I'm just going to drill out the female end and add a screw hole for the hex.
