Need Suggestions For My First Gun

Well, the title says all.

Just note that i love and i prefer great quality. For me, it doesnt matter that i begin in airsoft, i love that sport and i want to start with a good gun.

But i need your opinions to have an idea of what's considerated to be a good gun. I got age verified, i just wait for my infos to be confirmed in the ASC system. I guess its not going to be that long anymore.

Well, i'm waiting for your suggestions !

Systema PTW!

You need snow and wood training? I heard there is a place in Montreal that trains you to become the best!! OOH don't forget their PREP package which includes formatting batteries.

Well, i know systema is really good but, maybe something cheaper. I'm not that rich as many of you, i got a good job, but they put me bad shedules so i dont have much money as before.

I'm looking at something more within 4 - 500$. I just can't wait for my infos to be confirmed to get access to the classified. Until then, maybe you could tell me which brand is good and which is not

I know a bit about airsoft, i follow some news and i'm quite passionate so. I never played on a real field but i know a little bit about guns and everything related. So don't spare me the term used lol i know what they means. Ahah other suggestions ?

M4? Ak? G36? Mp5?

JonsM4 November 30th, 2011 21:22

King Arms M4 Full metal roughly 350$. Use the other 150$ for mods.

Any of the M4 class KWA rifle are great stock and very durable. Pretty much plug and shoot. And easy to upgrade later on if need be.

This is a great choice. King Arms is a top brand, very reliable and has some of the bets externals on the market.

actually they got for at least 400 - 450 now the priced upped from before,

I like M4, G36 and Scar Serie. I was looking for a full metal gun (except for G36, which is polymer or something like that)

I love GBBr, but they're not enought stable and reliable at the moment. And the temperature play on their performances so, not now. Or maybe one for summer.

But what about full metal AEG ? Something good ?

Is that your entire budget, or gun budget?

Not so. If he gets Av's they can still be had for just over $300.

ramdipam November 30th, 2011 21:48

Well, i guess 500$ for a gun is a good budget. For sure, i'll try to get something used from the the classified. Red Tiger told me i could get so great deal if i check out there.

Note that its gonna be my first REAL good quality gun. So, 500$ is my budget for a gun. gear and accessorie is something else.

I will work more and save if needed. Maybe find a second job if i need. But i really want to invest seriously in airsoft

Eeyore November 30th, 2011 21:56

If you show a little restraint and planning $500 is very feasible especially if you buy used.

Just a quick run down:

gun $350
battery $ 25
mags $ 40
eye protection (most important purchase) $80
boots (second most important) $60
combats $60
cheap starting vest $40
charger $60

$715

Curo November 30th, 2011 21:58

King Arms. All the way.

ramdipam November 30th, 2011 22:00

Well, i mean, 500$ is for the gun. Used it may comes with some mags and a battery, a least. So no worry for that.

For gear (boots, vest and etc) and accessories (scope, laser, bipod or whatever), its something else. Its gonna be buy later, progressively. But for strating, 500$ for a gun (in used). I dont reallyplan to buy new now. Just get used, so it may come with approximatively everything i need for starting with a gun. You know what i mean ?
