JT Alpha Goggles

I was out looking for a pair of goggles today and came across some "JT Elite Alpha" goggles in a store. Unfortunately, the guy in the sports section was clueless when it came to paintball/airsoft.

Does anybody know if in this setup the goggles and mask can be separated (so that only the goggles can be worn, without the full mask)?

I have not had a JT goggle before that did not come apart. They have little plastic "plugs" holding them inside the goggles upper and lower vents (At least on my JT Spectras)

Odd is right, they do come apart just fine.

Well, the problem with these is that the straps actually go through a slit in the plastic of the mask near the back. So I'm not sure how the straps would get through those slits.

Well the problem with these is that the straps for the goggles actually go through a slit in the plastic of the mask towards the back.

Below is a link to a picture of a pair of goggles/mask that has a similar setup (the straps going through the plastic). Although this isn't the mask I'm talking about, you can still see what I mean: http://i.walmart.com/i/p/00/78/75/36...V1_500X500.jpg

o yes i see, but it doesnt matter much becasue most people just discard it when they remove the mask out of the goggle
