SVD Folding Stock To Fixed
I picked up that Aftermath SVD Cabela's has now for something to fuck with, and I'm wondering how much work it would be to convert the SVDS-type side-folding stock to a standard wood fixed model. I'm thinking it'd be difficult, but I'm not entirely sure how bad. I'd be looking at a new receiver, wouldn't it?

so you spent 200$ on a crappy clear plastic sniper rifle, while you could have spent the time gotten AV'd and gotten an A&K for about the same price full metal and full stock? and you are now asking us to help you convert it into a full stock weapon, which also requires the purchase of a metal body (which we cannot do on account of site rules)

I'm nowhere near Edmonton, anything I order is online through their website. I'm stuck in central Newfoundland, the absolute middle of nowhere.

Their are guys that play in Newfoundland. Their are also people who Age Verify in Newfoundland. Do a quick Google search and you will probably find information on the local club. They have a thread under the Atlantic section as well.

OP, your gun isn't even a clone. There is no aftermarket external parts for it, unless perhaps the gearbox itself is cloned. If anything breaks on it, you will not be able to replace it without buying the same gun again. |
Its nearly a 2 - 3 hour drive for most of us to get out to games where I live, even longer for a buddy of mine.
Thats just to get out to games. A drive for verification won't really kill you. Lol, go shopping or whatever in the city you're going to and just make the trip worthwhile aside from the meeting. Its not hard. |
