Help with my account ---- cant access site
 

Hey everyone,

So I'm pretty new here and I have been having problems accessing the site. Almost half the time I access or select any part of airsoft Canada (say, if I want to go to forums, or read a specific thread) i get redirected to this profile address and all i get is a blank page:

Then to access what I was trying to see I have to either refresh enough times and it goes to its original destination, or I have to close the page and open the site again.

I have tried accessing the forums on multiple computers/browers, my tablet, an ipad, and my mac book. It gets really annoying and I need to figure out a solution beucase it makes visiting this site almost unbearable because I can never access what I want.

Thanks, but I cannot acces the User CP at all. I just tried about 30 times, and each and every time it redirects me to the blank profile page.

I cleared my cache and tried on my pc and Mac........any other suggestions?

And yes, i tired to manually put it in as well.

Tex : when in your CP check your DST correction settings in the "edit options" page. if it is set to auto or off change it to always on. this helps some with this issue but I know other things cause it too.

you have to keep trying or find a different way to get there like clicking on your user name at the top and then "edit friends list" or try using the private messages link.

There's lots of post about that.

Sorry guys but none of this stuff works. User CP is not accessable. It always forwards me to the profile page.

I have tried to edit my profile, yet it does nothing.

I access a number of other forums that use this same software and have never had a problem like this.

HOW DO I GET THIS SITE TO STOP FORWARDING ME TO PROFILE EVERY TIME I ACCESS IT?

Its getting super annoying that when i want to access this site i need to open and close the window 3-7 times before it finally stops forwarding me to the profile page..

What browser are you using? Maybe you should switch to a different one?

I have tired the following:

PC - IE,Chrome,Opera
MAC - Safari,Chrome
Xoom Tablet (Android) Stock chrome browser, dolphin browser
Iphone - Safari

If it is something to do with the account should I just make a new one? The only problem is I am currently waited to become AV'ed (submitted a week ago) so I would need that somehow transfered over.

Try Firefox?

Downloaded it, Tired and it and failed.

Any Admins have any tips, tricks or solutions that actually work?

Lets be realistic here for a minute. I surf on a number of different forums that use vBulletin, and have never, ever, ever had this kind of problem so it cant be said that its my computer, or browser, because we are far beyond that. To be clear, UserCP is NOT accessible, ever. Even if I open it 20-30x it still redirects me to the profile page. Even still, after a few weeks this persists and I cant access this site without being forward to a profile page 5-10 times first. If I log in, i need to hit back 5-15 times before it finally hits the loading screen again and properly forwards me to the forum page home

when you put it that way, it sounds like there is something wrong with your internet provider.

That makes no sense. I have used it on my phone, rogers, I have bell at home + it does this everywhere I go, including friends houses, wifi at Mcdonalds and starbucks. Its not my computer, IP, or anything connected to me. Its got to be my account or this site.

well it can't hurt to check all angle to fix this issue right?
