DEVGRU uniform question
So I'm trying to put together a DEVGRU-ish loadout for my gear, and so far I'm using some Propper AOR1's that I have. However, I just picked up a DCP combat jacket today that I'd also like to use. But would it be acceptable? DEVGRU has been seen with DCP, but I couldn't find anything as far as DCP and AOR1 combined.

What is "DCP"?

Huh... you sure that what you've got is AOR1? These a pretty $$$$

You sure it's AOR1 and not digital desert? I wasn't aware Propper had anything available in AOR1 |
It's definitely AOR1, I just double-checked. I think it was $60USD +shipping through voodootactical.com.

I believe I've seen it in about two photos tops... very rare combination, or at least its rare to see.

https://www.gijoesmilitarysurplus.co...ducts_id=10252 But it's a digital desert camo pattern so let's say it loosely looks like it is, from 50m... So yes top AOR1 + DCU pants has been seen, as Stewart said a few times but not often. I'll try to find the pic. EDIT: Actually thinking about it I'm not sure... It could have been AOR1 top and just solid tan pants. EDIT2: I don't really want to spend the whole afternoon looking for them so I'll stop here, but meanwhile I found a spanish reenactor's (elvenas) pics who does portray the tan+AOR1 combo I was talking about. http://i627.photobucket.com/albums/t...0042010006.jpg http://i627.photobucket.com/albums/t...ix/Michel1.jpg http://i627.photobucket.com/albums/t...ix/Michel2.jpg Note that the top is the combat shirt, not just any BDU jacket. So to your original question, the answer is NO. You can still do it if you want, that's airsoft... but you can't call that DEVGRU. |
if you're looking for a decent set of clone AOR 1, i would recommend the stuff from airsoftdepot.it's not a perfect match but it's all we have in canada thats close enough. other than that you can call blackhawk directly and order the HPFU's at $120 - $150 a piece for top and bottoms. just make sure you order a size up as they are athletic fit.
