416 receiver compat.
I would like to have two upper receivers for my m4, and wanted to do something a little different. Iv seen 416 upper receivers on colt gbbrs, but not eags. Does anyone know where I can get just 416 uppers with rail systems, barrel, etc.? And if theres any out there thats even compatible with colt eag lowers?

Sorry just to clarify are youasking where to get a 416 upper for an AEG or a GBBR? And if a gbbr which brand?

Basically a 416 upper is the same as a M4 one except for the rail system. As long as you choose a brand that compatable with the gun it should be no problem.

As you're in the US, i'd advise you to just buy a JG HK416 or a DBoys HK416 (depending on the brand of your gun) and get rid of the lower. HK416 uppers are not sold separately. |

What is the brand of your current M4?
|
It is a "no name" random plastic lower and upper (my metal king arms body had to go to pay some bills) but now that I have the cash again I'm purchasing new metal components. So as of right now, I'm buying the Hk upper the same time I'm buying the lower.
|
So, if you have to get a new Colt lower anyway, my suggestion is to get 2 full guns of the same make (like DBoys or JG) and just resell the parts (like the HK lower, gearbox, stock, etc) that you don't need.

Thats a little pricey, But I appreciate the suggestion :D

Well, unless you find one used, that's your only option, so...
|
Thats probably what I'm going to have to do.

wouldn't it be easier and cheaper to just buy a complete 416, then buy an after market metal colt lower? you then can sell the 416 lower and get some money back.
living in the US means you get get lowers for cheap. would be the rout i would take. |
