Being new to airsoft, I am not very familiar with all the airsoft gears out there. However, I was hoping you airsoft veterans could point me in the right direction as I try to complete an AVA sniper outfit. Much help is appreciated.

looks like a galil sniper on his hands , a chest rig of some sort , knee pads , elbow pads

yes but it looks like it has a modified stock. the gun pictured does not have a pistol grip. the real steel version does.

the gun does have a pistol grip, just blends in nicely with the blue background lol

btw, have you guys ever seen a hood that looks like the one in the picture? or would I have to do my own sewing in order to make one?

It looks more like a sniper veil than a hood. Just a piece of camouflaged netting or fabric that will distort the outline of his head.
