ACOG

Anyone know if any of the 4x32 ACOG clones are adjustable for windage and elevation? Im referring to the scope itself NOT the doctor sight on top. The reason why im asking is because most of the clones Ive seen can not be adjusted, but many advertised on ebay says it is so I wanted to verify. Thanks.

mine can --> http://shop.ehobbyasia.com/ea-4x32-a...-sight-bk.html

When you turn the knobs, do the entire cross hair move? Or can you independently adjust the x and y axis of the crosshair?

PS: Hows the external finish of the scope?

the one I have from ebairsoft has knobs that twist off with screws inside you use for your adjustments. the finish is pretty good and has the "for military and law enforecement use only" stamp on it. it's pretty good the only thing that sucks is that there is no off switch for the doctor sight so you have to pop out the battery every time your done using it.

Not sure what you mean by the crosshair moving... The crosshair cannot be moved within the lense if that is what you meant. The whole reticle/lense (or sight picture) can be adjusted on the x and y axis like most normal sights.

The finish is pretty good, same sort of finish as a good quality metal GBB pistol I would say.

Are the knobs functional for windage and elevation adjustment? Link?

So you're saying that when you adjust for windage and elevation, the ENTIRE lense/image shifts?

RacingManiac June 29th, 2010 15:00

That should be normal since its not a dot sight, the reticle is etched on the glass element I believe...

Yep, adjusting the alignment of the lenses is what makes the view shift, not the crosshairs moving around.

Ooops my bad.. i only had experience with red dots and didnt know the entire lense of the ACOG would be adjustable. Besides the one u posted from Ehobby since they are out of stock, are there any others that are fully adjustable with full trades?

MrBond June 29th, 2010 15:28

I actually didn't get mine from eHobby, but it was the exact same model and i got it from eBay as it was 10$ cheaper... but the price went up since then.
I'm sure a quick search on eBay will find the exact same model for cheaper somewhere in China.

I guess the reason why im asking is because im afraid that im going to get an ACOG that is not adjustable. All these China clones, some are adjustable, some arent, kinda worries me. So, i tend to ask ppl where they bought theres from, so i can rest assure that it is adjustable.

Apparently there is a new ACOG with 4X and a red reticle

Same China made product, just a different model. Unless you really wanted the one with iron sights that's sold out, I'd go for this one no problem.

Why don't you ask Huang? he has one that adjusts.

I think this one just has a red dot, i doubt it has the crosshair. Only the real ACOGs have the crosshair and tritium
