Broken gun
 

This is a newbie question so i didnt think it was appropriate to post it in doctors corner.

I have Swiss Arms Black Eagle m6 s, last time i used it it stopped cocking. when i pull back the bolt it doesnt catch.
Whats wrong? Is it easy to fix or should i just buy a new gun? how expensive would it be to pay to be fixed?

1) That gun is of very, very low quality.

2) With low end guns there is usaully no fixing sadly.

i know its low quality, dont care

so what should i do then? give me some advice.

The way to fix it, is buy a new gun.
Or open it up yourself. It's not worth paying someone to look at. You really have nothing to lose if it's already broken.

how much would it cost if i did pay someone to repair it?

more than the guns worth sadly

It wouldn't be worth anyone's time to try.

$20 an hour for someone worth their salt. It could be HOURS of work to make the gun fire reasonably, only to have it break a short time after and have to take it back to the gun doctor.

Rude much or is it just me?

I'll open mine later on tonight and show you what it looks like. Once you find out what is broken post in the doctors forums on....either how to fix this part or where to buy it.

Well considering everyone else is shouldering him away and telling him to just buy a new gun, I don't blame his attitude. Everyone needs to calm down - the guy's just asking for a little help.

First, MaseTheAce - where are you located?

Second - Take the shell of the gun apart; it's a good learning experience. I learned to fix my own guns by first taking a few apart. Just be sure that you remember (make a diagram if necessary) where everything goes again.

Third - let us know where you get from there, by just examining first. Could be a stripped part or something could just be snapped internally.

Fourth - Know that people aren't here to flame you (contrary to popular belief). Some people charge an arm & a leg to even look at guns, let alone fix them for you. So there is some truth behind what people are saying about it not being worth the time and money to give the gun to a doc.

Finally - Get Age Verified. It's good to have regardless, and gives you full access to the community. I've been helped by people selling similar guns to mine in the classifieds, who have repaired the gun in order to sell it. You never know where you'll find help!

cracking it open
 

ok so i had stuff to do on the weekend so i didn't get around to it till today.
I cracked open the gun and heres what i found (pictures attached)

Inside the bolt, the piece that should be holding the spring straight is snapped. this is the only thing i found wrong so i'm assuming its the problem.
Does anybody know how i could take the bolt apart to open that up so i can fix it. if not and i have to just replace the whole bolt, is it worth it and if so where could i get it (i live in edmonton AB). if not ill just get a new gun.

Broken spring guide. Unless it uses a standard spring guide... which I highly, highly doubt, you won't be able to fix it. Besides a new spring guide is probably worth 1/2 the gun anyway.
