2 piece quad rail system for m4/m16

i was cruising "real steel" sites for some reason or another out of boredom and stumbled on this set up:

http://www.tacticalgears.com/Scripts...?idproduct=708

damn that looks sexy, and appears to mount like standard handguards, plus checkout the price! ive been looking for some sort of differant handguard set-up simply to get rid of the "ribbed for her pleasure" ugly handguards currently on my weapon. this looks pretty enticing.

That is pretty awesome. Good find. I've been looking for some new rails for my gun, and this might be the answer. Thanks for sharing :D

Slick, I was gonna google about and see if they did, but since you're emailing, I guess I don't have to.

I don't see why they wouldn't though. It's simple furniture for stock AR's. It's not even a really high end tactical piece.

in the email i stated it was for airsoft,i thought i better state what it was for since im enquiring about real steel accessories for a weapon restricted/banned in canada. here's their home page link for you check out.

yes i "checked around" but i wanted to be sure considering its an accessory for a restricted weapon.

Good chances those won't make it through border, US side. 50% chance it does/does not since its real steel and the US is very strict about what they let out of the country.

http://www.questar.ca/

sent an email to them asking for info such as handguard sizes. if i can find real steel acc, in country and cheaper than actual airsoft prices,,,well you know where my money will be going.

Sergeantmajor January 3rd, 2008 01:25

WTF? why would it be seized?

and what are you talking about? its an accessory for a restricted weapon, the gun is restricted, not the accessories.

Stop posting your idiotic comments. Just read the fucking posts and information given about everything.

Questar only ships to PAL owners. Big bummer b/c i found the perfect quad rail for my PTW :(

Why wouldn't it make it over the border from the US side? It's not an export restricted item. Nor is it illegal to import. We have enough fucking backwards laws to content with already, don't go around pulling new ones out of your ass.

That being said, @OP: dunno what gun you plan on dropping that onto, but since it's made for real steel you're to need a "real style" barrel nut/delta ring:

G&P and KA make some, they're like $25-30.

The handguard cap (at the front) may or may not need replacing.
