DBOYS / G&G Compatibility

Alright. Im thinking this is a newbie question. I know G&G and Dboys are TM Compatible, but i was just wondering if anyone would knew if it would be an issue for installing a Dboys SPR Mod 1 front end kit (http://www.ebairsoft.com/dboy-forend...on-p-1106.html) on a G&G M16A3 or GR16A3. It's for my SPR project.. I've searched everywhere and cant find the answer, this is probably due to my metal handicapped-ness. Anyways, thanks in advance if anyone can give me the answers i seek. =]

Compatibility of parts: G&G=TM=DBoys; therefore, by logical deduction, G&G=DBoys

Thought so. If ordering from EBairsoft, will there be a problem importing? I know it should be fine.. but Im worried about it since it comes with a fake gas tube as well..

Gas tubes, and front ends are fine to import, as long as they don't have suppressors.

FYI though, just because a Dboy part is supposed to fit with a TM which is supposed to fit with a G&G, doesn't mean it will. Mods might be required

Just for the record..
The Dboys AK series Kalash is not 100% TM compatible, it is a VFC clone which is also not TM compatible.

But as for the M4 series, I do believe you should be good to go.

Styrak January 29th, 2010 04:35

It will most likely fit just fine.

anybody know if G&G is compatable with G&P

Styrak February 26th, 2010 01:24

G&P is TM compatible therefore it would stand to reason...etc, etc...

Most brands follow TM design.

Dart February 26th, 2010 04:19

i thought g&g internals were compatable but the externals where propriatary.... or is that just the clear stuff?

You might be think of ICS as there upper recievers have a different threading on them but all you hav to do is rethread them and voila TM compatible. I have a Guarder KAC RIS on my G&G and a CA m203 grenade launcher, no mods required.

Along the same lines here, even though I realize this thread is a bit dated :P

Are G&G AK47's Compatible with G&P Mags and with TM or CA Bodies? I'm looking to see how easy it will be to fix it and get parts for it should anything go wrong before I buy.

Styrak May 20th, 2010 18:43

No, G&G has their own design for their AK's.

But mags will pretty much fit any airsoft AK (may need some slight filing to fit some guns but nothing major).
